...for some people

just to be able to cope

is enough

This series is entitled ‘Ladies in Boredom’.
Because of not being able to go to the studio I had to adapt and find other mediums to work with and found myself going back to crayons and oil sticks, and somehow really got into this combination.

It took me actually a very long time to feel like creating something, and I found myself feeling guilty for it, because of all the social media pressure. So i started imagining there might be a lot of ladies out there just staring at walls, which is totally fine. I think it’s really great that loads of people out there turned their quarantine into a creative force, and learned to bake bread; but for some people just to be able to cope is enough.
