What did you go to shop for?

Tofu and Noodles

What did you actually buy?

Beetroot, Zucchini, Leek and some Salad

Now.. You can go back to shop or.. Yes.. Zucchini and Beetroot it is.

STEPS:

  1. Cook the Beetroot first (make as much mess as possible)

  2. Chop-Chop everything

  3. Put some olive oil (or whatever) to the pan

  4. Stir the veggies (one after the other)

  5. Add salt, pepper and oregano (no specific amount)

  6. Steal some fresh Rosemary from your flatmate (just because he’s not here so you can’t ask as you normally would)

  7. Realize you don’t have enough penne for two people so cook spaghetti instead (even though you know you’re gonna hate it because pasta kind matters and this food just doesn’t call spaghetti at all)

  8. Vent your frustration by singing along Billy Idol

  9. Add some apple vinegar

  10. Stir everything.

  11. Add spaghetti to the pan

  12. Stir together again

  13. Put into plates

  14. Add some salad on top

  15. Realize that you still gonna need some cheese

  16. Check the fridge just to be sure you don’t have any .

  17. Ask your other flatmate for cheese (because she’s here so you can be normal nice person again)

  18. Serve

  19. Share the food, Always

Decide few days later to eat the penne because it’s just one portion anyway...just to find out that the amount was actually more than enough and now you’re gonna eat it for three days with sauce that could actually go much better with spaghetti you used for that previous dinner that you could comfortably made with your initial pasta choice.
